About Our President

Brian Dotson is a seasoned engineer known for his ability to transform concepts into working solutions. After earning his BSEE degree from Auburn University, Brian began his career at SCI Technology in Huntsville, Alabama, where he worked in the government division, specializing in the management of high-reliability electronic components and rigorous testing to meet military specifications for defense system contracts.

He later moved to Boeing Defense & Space Division, serving as the lead audio/video integration engineer on the International Space Station prime contract. Despite the satisfaction of working on such a high-profile project, Brian sought more practical electronics work. This led him to co-found Hear Technologies in the late 1990s, where he was pivotal in architecting and developing the electronics and firmware for the Hear Back Classic personal monitor mixer and Hear Back audio hub.

Brian's quest for skill refinement brought him to NuVo Technologies in Cincinnati, where over a 16 - year period which included acquisition of the company by Legrand, he honed his board electronics design expertise and managed sophisticated product developments like the NV-M3 music server. His involvement in manufacturing took him often to Hangzhou, China, where he engaged in EMI qualification and new product introductions with the local contract manufacturer's test and engineering teams.

In 2019, Brian relocated to the Denver area to work for Creation Technologies. He has continued his involvement in product development to the present.
